When my sister in law was visiting last year she wanted just a few snapshots to remember this beautiful moment of pregnancy. Now my niece Aria is 6 months old and while they were visiting I was reminescing on these photos and thinking how excited I was to have a fourth niece in the family. She left today to go back home and I just miss them so…
Another year has passed and as I look back there are so many grateful moments that I cherish and am so thankful for. This was my first year in a long time I set goals and had many dreams. Though there were challenges and rough moments through this past year I was able to do measurably more than I could of ever imagined. With the strength of our Lord and those who love, support, and keep me accountable I am really living out my dreams and can look back upon this great year and say wow, look how far I have come.
As I look ahead to this new year of 28, I have so many passions, goals, and dreams that are far beyond my reach but I know I can take small steps and work towards them day by day. I will be taking steps to let go of my fears and my pride and dream big and never give up. I wanted to personally thank all of you who have a special place in my heart and continue to encourage me each day. I love you all so much and thank the Lord each day for this beautiful gift of life I am living. Cheers to 28 and a new year of health, happiness, and big dreams!
Sometimes I have a sweet tooth but I know eating foods high in bad sugars will only make my cravings go to another level. I really try my hardest not to feed my body foods that have high calories in sugar and absolutely no nutritional value. I am always experimenting with new vegetables and a few fruits when we make our juice in our home each morning. I wanted to share this recipe with you because it was so delicious and definitely satisfied my sweet craving. You can modify this recipe to a smaller amount if you wish, my husband and I just wanted to have enough to drink for our entire morning until lunch.
Sweet Cantaloupe Juice:
(I use all organic fruits and vegetables and try to buy from local markets weekly)
8-12 stems of kale
1 granny smith apple
1Ib of carrots
3 large handfuls of fresh spinach
While I was home visiting my family I always love to see what my little sister has been up to since my last visit. She is absolutely gifted with the creative gene and I truly want to share this lovely diy with you today. There are so many great tutorials on pinterest on how to create a design piece to display your earrings but I really love how neat and rustic this one is. She found this antique drawer for less than $10 at Ben Franklin’s closing store sale. It did take her some time adding the hooks but it is definitely well worth it when it is a finished piece!
What you will need:
*antique drawer or old type tray (find them at antique stores/garage sales)
*hooks – you can use brass/antique/silver whichever you prefer
All you need to do is take the hooks and screw them into the areas you would want to hang your earrings onto. You could even stain or paint the wooden tray/box too! If you create an earring display post a comment with the link below, I would love to see it. Have an inspiring Monday!
